Plumas County Plane Crash Victims Identified
CHESTER, Calif. (AP) – Authorities have identified two people who died in a plane crash at a rural Plumas County airport on Thursday.
The Plumas County Sheriff's department says Ronald Gilmore, 76, has been positively indentified while his wife, Janet Gilmore, has been tentatively identified as the victims.
The Gilmore's Beech Craft Twin V went down some time around 7 p.m. and was later located about a quarter mile southwest of the airport.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash as well as the Plumas County Sheriff's Office Coroner's Division.
