Pit Bulls Slaughter 40 Goats At Lake Los Angeles
LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County authorities say three pit bulls got into a corral and killed 40 goats.
The slaughter happened at about 4:30 p.m. Monday in the high desert community of Lake Los Angeles.
Sheriff's Lt. E. Stewart says authorities weren't able to locate the pit bulls' owner and it's unclear whether they were strays. He didn't know early Tuesday whether the dogs had been captured.
