Patterson Boy Will Perform At Carnegie Hall
PATTERSON (CBS13) — An 11-year-old musician is going to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Francisco Ortiz is a sixth-grader at Patterson's Creekside Middle School. He's a trumpet player, and only one of 49 performers in the nation to be invited to the middle-school honors performance series.

Surprisingly, he's only been playing for two years, but he gives credit for his skill to his family.
The young musicians will spend five days in New York before the June 27 performance.
