Overnight Fire Damages Modesto Church
MODESTO (CBS13) -– An overnight fire at a Modesto church is under investigation Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out around midnight at the Crosspoint Community Church on 12th Street.
Firefighters found a trash can next to the building that was on fire.
Investigators say the blaze caused a large window to shatter, sucking the smoke from the flames into the building.
Damage is estimated at close to $10,000.
There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
