Oakland College Set To Resume Classes After Rampage

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — With the horrors of a deadly shooting rampage still a fresh memory, students at a California Christian college are set to resume classes in a building where seven people were killed earlier this month.

Oakland's Oikos University planned to restart classes on Monday, just weeks after police said nursing student One L. Goh fatally shot six of his fellow students and a receptionist.

The school has been busy putting in new carpets and removing the blood and bullet scars marring the school building.

Goh, charged with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder, has apologized for the shooting.

Oikos President Jongjin Kim has said that, while most students will take classes in the same building, the nursing students will be moved to another facility.
