National Park Service Celebrates Birthday By Waiving Entrance Fees Today

The National Park Service is making it a little easier today to experience America's treasures.

August 25 is the 99th birthday of the National Park Service, and to celebrate, the service is waiving the entrance fee to the country's 127 fee-required parks.

Other fees such as reservation, camping tours, concession and fees collected by third parties may still be required.

Two more fee-free days remain in 2015: September 26 - National Public Lands Day and November 11 – Veterans Day.
