Modesto Police Searching Thief Wearing "Thumper" Sweatshirt

MODESTO (CBS13) – Modesto Police are searching for a robber who is apparently a fan of Disney's Bambi movie.  Surveillance captured the thief wearing a sweatshirt featuring the character "Thumper".

The suspect robbed the Quick Stop at 110 La Loma Avenue in Modesto around 3:30 this morning.  Police say no gun was seen, but the suspect did reach into his pocket and simulate he had a gun.

The "Thumper Thief" is described as a white man in his late 30's approximately 6'3" and weighing about 180 pounds.  He had brown hair and a mustache.  His "Thumper" sweatshirt was gray in color with the words "Thumper" down the left front side and a white rabbit on the right side.
