Mark Jackson Out As Golden State Warriors Head Coach
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - The Golden State Warriors say they have relieved coach Mark Jackson of his duties.
The Warriors were eliminated after a Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.
The team finished 51-31 this season, and Jackson finishes with a 121-109 record.
The team issued a statement saying while it improved during his tenure, a difficult decision had to be made.
