Police Investigating Wednesday Night Shooting As Homicide
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Stockton.
A call came into 911 dispatchers around 6 p.m. that a man had been shot in the area of Knickerbocker Drive and Knickerbocker Court. Officers arrived at the scene and found the 38-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead, according to a Stockton Police Department statement.
Police detectives are investigating the shooting.
This is the 48th homicide in Stockton this year. Last year, the city had 49 homicides.
