Man Reportedly Kills Brother In Sacramento Domestic Dispute

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - One man is dead and his brother is in custody after an apparent domestic dispute turned deadly on Monday afternoon.

A neighbor reported that he saw a man run out of house in the 2500 block of Warrego Way near La Riviera Drive in Sacramento and the man asked him to call police, saying he was in a fight with his brother. The 911 call came in at about 4:30 p.m.

When Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies arrived, they found one man sitting outside the home on the front lawn and another man dead inside suffering from a gunshot wound or wounds.

"We've had issues with them before. We've heard gunshots, the past week or so we've been calling the cops," neighbor Jennifer Mitchell said. "They've had drama going on for awhile."

The suspect is in his 30s and the victim in his 40s. No other information was immediately available, including the names of the victim and suspect or what prompted the shooting.
