Man Missing In Butte County Found Safe
PHILBROOK (CBS13) - The man who was missing for two days in Butte County has been found safe.
Authorities began looking for 65-year-old Wayne Carteron after he drove his pickup truck to the Philbrook area to cut down a Christmas tree on Wednesday and did not return.
According to KRCR-TV, Cateron was found in a cabin several miles away from where his truck was discovered.
The Butte County Sheriff's Department broke the news of his discovery around 2 p.m.
"We are happy to report that Search and Rescue crews have located Wayne Cateron alive and well. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the search."
