Man Dies In Modesto Shooting

MODESTO (CBS13) – A 30-year-old man was killed late Friday night in a northeast Modesto shooting, authorities said.

The Modesto Police Department said officers received reports of the shooting just before 10:30 p.m. Friday and arrived found the wounded victim in a residence on the 1400 block of Fara Biundo Drive.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, but he later died from his injuries. His identity has not been released.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released, but detectives say there are signs the incident was gang-related.
