Man Arrested After Pursuit And Crash In West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after leading West Sacramento police on a chase through the city.
Police say they tried to stop the driver after they found the truck to be stolen around 1:00 a.m.
However, the driver failed to pull over instead leading officers in a chase that reached speed over 70 miles per hour.
The pursuit came to an end at 5th and C streets when the suspect lost control and the truck slammed into a pole.
The suspect was not hurt and was taken into custody.
No other information was available.
