Man Arrested After Allegedly Holding Family Members Hostage
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A man suspected of holding two people hostage in a South Sacramento home is now behind bars after a four-hour standoff.
Officers say the suspect allegedly sent picture messages to someone of two family members being held hostage.
SWAT officers showed up to the home on Hermosa Street near 24th Street and used a public address system to talk the suspect out. He surrendered at around 1 a.m.
One victim was found inside and was uninjured. The second victim wasn't found but is believed to be fine.
The suspect is facing false imprisonment and other charges.
