Man Armed With Shotgun Robs Modesto Citibank

MODESTO (CBS13) - A man armed with a shotgun robbed a northeast Modesto bank at lunchtime on Tuesday.

Employees at Citibank, located at 1340 Oakdale Road, reported a bank robbery at 12:18 p.m. The suspect entered the bank displaying the shotgun and demanded money from the teller.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. He was last seen running south in the parking lot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 135 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored hood that concealed his face.
