Magnitude-5.1 Earthquake Hits Lake County
LAKE COUNTY (CBS13) — A moderate earthquake has struck in Lake County.
The United States Geological Survey says the magnitude-5.1 earthquake struck just before 8 pm. on Tuesday.
The earthquake was centered 12 miles north-northeast of Upper Lake.
One aftershock has happened, a magnitude-2.7 at 8:08 p.m. A second magnitude-3.0 earthquake struck at 8:24 p.m.
