LATHROP – A Central Valley community is getting its first Chick-fil-A.

People were lined up early Thursday morning for the grand opening of the new fast food restaurant on Golden Valley Parkway.

The eatery officially opened at 6:30 a.m. Emily Martin, a Sacramento native, will be the owner-operator of the restaurant.
