Kings' Hickson Sidelined by Hip Injury

SACRAMENTO (AP) - Sacramento Kings forward J. J. Hickson will miss at least the next three games with a bruised hip.

Hickson was injured in Sacramento's 108-100 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night after leaping for a rebound and landing hard on his hip. The team said an X-ray and an MRI exam Friday showed no fractures.

Hickson will be re-evaluated when the Kings return from their current road trip next week. Sacramento was playing at the Lakers on Friday night, at Phoenix on Sunday and at Denver on Monday.

Hickson is averaging 4.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18 minutes per game for the Kings this season, his first with the team.
