Judge Raises Bail In Murder Case Involving Former Stanislaus Co. Deputy
STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) - A former Stanislaus County Sheriff's detective accused of murder has one week to come up with $1 million bail or go to jail.
A judge raised Kari Abbey's bail during a court appearance Wednesday morning saying it should never have been set at just
$300,000.
The 34-year-old woman is accused of shooting and killing a woman who was holding a BB gun last September.
Abbey was off duty when the incident happened.
