I-80 Traffic Stopped At The Nevada State Line Due To Mudslide

Caltrans is stopping traffic on westbound Interstate 80 at the state line near Farad Road due to a mudslide.

East traffic is reportedly moving, but may be delayed.

There's currently no estimate on when the roadway will fully reopen.

The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for several Sierra and western Nevada counties through later Thursday afternoon.
