2 Arrested After Standoff At Land Park Home
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A SWAT team surrounded a home in the Land Park area while serving a search warrant Thursday morning.
Sacramento Police say that they were served a search warrant related to weapons violations to a home along the 1000 block of Rio Lane around 7 a.m. The people inside reportedly wouldn't comply and a standoff ensued, with SWAT being called out to the scene.
The standoff lasted just over an hour, police say.
Eventually, two people inside the home - a 68-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man - were arrested.
No neighbors were evacuated due to the incident.
