Deadly crash near Olympic Valley at Lake Tahoe blocks Highway 89
Highway 89 at Lake Tahoe is blocked after a deadly crash Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol says both directions of the highway are closed south of Olympic Valley Road.
Officers have confirmed that a person died in the crash, but no other details about the incident were given.
Caltrans has implemented one-way traffic controls along the Highway.
There was no estimated time of reopening.
