The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for our area, which remains in effect until noon. They warn drivers not to drive in areas where water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too deep to allow vehicles to pass through safely.

The rain is expected to let up in the Sacramento area around 9 a.m. It will then pick back up Tuesday night.
