The Lodi Grape Festival and Harvest Fair is a family-friendly option for the fair and festival season. And – get this – despite the "Lodi" name this festival is NOT about the vino. Located about 40 minutes south of Sacramento at 413 East Lockeford Street in Lodi, fair-goers will be able to enjoy concessions, dancing and musical entertainment and the carnival, complete with traditional rides and games. The Lodi Grape Festival and Harvest Fair runs from Thursday, September 15 through Sunday, September 18. Fair hours are Thursday from 4-11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from noon till midnight; and Sunday from noon till 11 p.m.

Admission Prices
If you're looking for an affordable fall activity, The Lodi Grape Festival and Harvest Fair is the place to be. Children ages 5 years and younger are free all four days of the fair. Kids ages six through twelve years are $4, except for Kids' Day on Thursday, when their admission is completely gratis. It will cost adults $8 per person for fair entry. On Friday, everyone will get in at no charge from noon till 5 p.m. thanks to California Waste Recovery Systems. Tickets can be purchased in advance and books of tickets are the most affordable way to go for groups.

Musical Entertainment

With four separate stages, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the Lodi Grape Festival and Harvest Fair. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey and Michael Jackson tribute bands, Whiskey Row, The Lodi Community Band, and Coco Montoya round out the musical guests on the main stages, and you can show off your singing skills at karaoke night if you're out to impress the audience.

If the carnival rides and games aren't enough to keep the kiddos happy, check out the General Mills
Kidzone, which will feature kid-friendly entertainment and activities. Gypsy Time Travelers and the Swan
Bros. Circus will perform regularly in the Kidzone. Kids will also enjoy Brad's World Reptiles, located in
the Jackson Hall, and strolling entertainer Jeremy the Juggler.

Carnival

A fair just isn't the same without carnival rides and games. Get your festival fix at the Lodi Grape and
Harvest Festival with your choice of rides that cost between three and five tickets each. Tickets are $1
if purchased individually and unlimited rides wristbands are $28, except on Thursday when they
