Go-Cart Driver Killed In Elk Grove After Collision With Truck
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – A man riding a go-cart was killed in Elk Grove on Saturday night when he collided with a pick-up truck.
The crash happened at about 6 p.m. in the 9400 block of Bowmont Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the male driver of the go-cart had collided with the pick-up truck while they were traveling in opposite directions on Bowmont, according to Elk Grove Police Officer Christopher Trimm.
The go-cart driver, whose name wasn't released, was transported to a local area hospital where he later died. Identification of the deceased will be made by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured in the collision.
