Giants' Buster Posey: Day-To-Day Case With Bruised Finger

Good news for San Francisco Giants fans: Buster Posey went in for an x-ray after injuring his finger on a foul tip and the results came back negative. Alex Pavlovic of NBCS tweeted the update Tuesday evening.
Posey left Tuesday night's 9-6 loss to the Rockies in the bottom of the eighth inning when a foul tip bruised the ring finger on his right hand. It's expected he'll be on a day-to-day case moving forward.
