Fire Rips Through Vacant Fair Oaks Home
FAIR OAKS (CBS13) - Fire crews are investigating a blaze in Fair Oaks that ripped through a vacant home.
The fire happened in the 4400 block of Sierra View Way, just off Winding Way. Investigators say the 2-story home was destroyed in the blaze.
The fire Sacramento Metro Fire chief is calling the fire suspicious. A neighbor's home has some damage from the fire.
"I woke up, my windows were orange, I thought a bomb went off," said Royce, a neighbor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
