Fire In Sheriff's Detective's Car Shuts Down Business 80, Lanes Reopening
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Traffic on Business 80 was brought to a standstill after an undercover sheriff's detective's vehicle caught fire in the eastbound lanes.
The multiple vehicle crash happened after 2:30 p.m. on eastbound Business 80, west of Exposition Boulevard. The undercover sheriff's deputy's vehicle was on the only one of the four on fire after the accident.
Business 80 was closed in both directions for about 10 minutes over reports of ammunition on fire inside the vehicle.
