Fire Damages 2 Modesto Homes
MODESTO (CBS13) - Firefighters were able to put out a three-alarm fire that spread to two homes in Modesto.
The homes are located in the 1200 block of Inyo Avenue. Firefighters say the fire burned mainly in the backyard of a home where "collectibles" are located.
The fire damaged a kitchen and bedroom in one of the homes and damaged the exterior of the second home. In addition to the homes, trailers in the back of the property have burned.
Firefighters used more water than usual to put out the fire due to the hot, dry weather.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
