Man Arrested After Kitten Found With 'Significant Trauma' Dies
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — A man is accused of abusing a kitten in Solano County to the brink of death, Fairfield Police said on Tuesday.
Keith Herbert, 22, was arrested on an animal cruelty charge.
Investigators say a kitten no more than 4 or 5 weeks old was dropped off at an animal hospital with significant trauma on Monday morning. Herbert was identified as a suspect based on witness statements.
The kitten died from its injuries.
