Elk Grove Business Burglarized Twice In 2 Months
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A small business in Elk Grove is cleaning up Friday morning after it became the target of burglars for the second time in two months.
Criminals used a large rock to smash the front window of The Running Zone and left everything in the store pretty much in place except for the cash register, which they took.
"To have this extra expense is not something we plan for or look forward to," said store co-owner Mimi Veiga.
"You do something like this, you hurt us, you hurt the economy. It's not the right thing to do," said co-owner
