Downtown Sacramento Hotel Floods Overnight

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Guests were temporarily displaced after minor flooding in downtown Sacramento hotel last night.

The flooding happened at the Shasta Hotel on 10th Street, which is between J and K Streets. The sprinkler fired on the 5th floor, triggering alarms.

"Water was everywhere. Water was all under my door -- running under my door. And she was in our doorway with the dresser standing right there, standing under the fire thing with that was shooting water on her and I couldn't see exactly what was going on. Water splashing everywhere," said a guest.

The hotel is working to clean-up wet mattresses and floors.
