Deputy Helps Deliver Baby In Patterson
PATTERSON (CBS13) – It was an eventful morning for one deputy in Patterson.
Patterson Police Services says Deputy Kyle Briggs was pulling into the back parking lot Thursday morning when a man and woman in a car flagged him down.
Deputy Briggs soon found out the woman was in labor.
An ambulance was called to the scene, but the baby apparently didn't feel like waiting. By the time emergency crews showed up, Deputy Briggs had already helped deliver the baby boy.
The baby and the new mom were later taken to the hospital.
