UPDATE: 1 Arrested As Deputies Continue Search For Second Suspect In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies have arrested one suspect and are still searching for another after a chase ended in a crash early Tuesday morning.

Deputies were pursuing a vehicle when it crashed at Rimrock and Florin roads before 5:00 this morning. Deputies say the suspects had been attempting to steal car wheels.

The suspects were able to run away into the neighborhood at Southwood Way.

Just after 6:00, a canine officer pinned down one suspect under a trailer in someone's backyard. He was taken into custody. Deputies are still searching for a second suspect.

Deputies have set up a perimeter from Briggs Drive to Chandler Drive on both sides of Florin Road.
