Deputies Searching For 'Person of Interest' After Body Found In Car

STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) – Stanislaus County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a 'person of interest' after finding the body of a man in a parked car in Modesto.

Deputies were called to the 700 block of Anthony Avenue around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night for reports of a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they found the body of man inside a car parked on the street.

The victim had been shot.

Deputies investigating the murder have identified a 'person of interest' in the case. They are looking for 32-year-old Louis Alexander Amaya. He is described as a Hispanic man, 5 foot 9 inches tall, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
