Demonstration Held At Capitol In Protest Of Police Shootings
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A demonstration was held at the capitol in Sacramento on Monday against the recent deadly police shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota.
The group called Standing for Black Lives held a silent march to the capitol where about 350 people gathered.
One of the best-known leaders in the Black Lives Matter movement, Deray McKesson, was arrested in Baton Rouge on Saturday night for standing in the street after being repeatedly told to get out of the roadway.
McKesson calls his arrest unlawful.
