THE DEFENSE
Q: Where did you get your car?
A: I got it from a coworker. She got a new car and I snagged this one.
Q: How much did you pay for it?
A: About $2,000.
Q: That's a good deal! How many miles have you personally put on it?
A: About 8,000.
Q: What's your car's main use? Where do you drive it most often?
A: To and from work, that's it. I can't go very far. After about 30 minutes, it starts to overheat.
Q: What's the farthest place you've driven it to?
A: Probably Placerville.
Q: And that was cutting it close?
A: Yeah, it started overheating up there.
Q: Why did you decide to come here today?
A: I haven't been to the new Squeeze Inn. I wanted to try it out.
Q: You've had a Squeeze burger before, though, right?
A: I've had them at their old location, but I've never been to the new one.
Q: What's your favorite day trip from home?
A: Maybe going up to Placerville.
Q: What do you like to do there?
A: Hang out with friends, work on cars, visit my parents.
Q: What's the craziest place you've driven?
A: I've been to some wild parties in Sacramento. Some pretty crazy parties!
Q: Do you have any rules in your car?
A: No rules. Everything goes.
Q: If your car had a theme song, what would it be?
A: Hmmm…theme song. I don't know. That's a tough one. The only thing that comes to mind is "Who Let the Dogs Out" [by Baha Men].
Q: Why?
A:I have no idea! I think I heard it on the TV recently and I was really surprised that someone brought it up on TV. I was just surprised.
Q: If your car had a human emotion, what would it be?
A: Not sad, but not happy. Somewhere in the middle of the road, pretty chill, really relaxed.
Q: What are some of your favorite features?
A: I know which ones I don't like. The seatbelt is way too far behind you when you go to put it on. It's really annoying. And the seat doesn't have a lot of cushioning. I do like its ability to conserve gas.
Q: What's your absolute dream car?
A: Bugatti Veyron.
Q: Why that?
A: I don't know. I saw it on Conan O'Brien and it looked ridiculously expensive.
Q: Is there anything else we should know about your car?
A: It says a lot about my taste in women. It's not too flashy. It's thrifty. It's a little dirty. And it's got some junk in the trunk!
