Davis School Evacuated As Police Investigate Bomb Threat

DAVIS (CBS13) – A Davis elementary school has been evacuated as officers investigated a bomb threat late Thursday morning.

The scene was at North Davis Elementary School. Officers and a bomb squad swept through the school.

Students were evacuated from the campus, police say.

Around 1:45 p.m., police announced that they had completed their sweep and found no devices.

The campus reopened after the all-clear was given.

Two other nearby schools, St. James School and Davis High School, were placed on precautionary lockdown.
