Davis Man Arrested For Peeping With A Camera

DAVIS (CBS13) -- A Davis man was arrested early this morning for allegedly peeping into a young woman's apartment and taking pictures of her without her knowledge.

Police were called to 707 Sycamore Lane in Davis at 2:40 a.m. after a resident says he spotted the suspect lurking around the apartment with a camera.

When police arrived, Chad Jones, 27, tried to drive off, but was pulled over. Inside Jones' car, police found camera equipment and images that suggested Jones was videotaping and photographing the woman.

Jones was arrested on charges of videotaping and photographing the victim without her consent or knowledge, and obstructing police officers. He was booked at the Davis Police Department and released on a notice to appear in court.
