Daughter Pleads For People Who Allegedly Ran Her Dad Over With An RV To Come Forward
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The daughter of a man run over and killed by an RV on Tuesday is begging the couple allegedly behind the wheel to come forward.
"You took my dad's life for no reason at all," Jamie Frazier said.
She says her father was visiting from out of state for the first time in eight years to visit his son's grave when he was killed.
"He was just such a good man, and whoever did this to my dad, we are going to catch you and fight to the depth of hell to find you," Frazier said.
West Sacramento Police found Michael Ray Anderson dead in the parking lot of a liquor store off of Sacramento Avenue. Hours of detective work led police to surveillance footage of the couple witnesses say killed Anderson with an RV.
"We want to talk to them," said Lt. Tod Sockman. "There's two sides to every story."
Investigators aren't calling the couple suspects, only persons of interest until they question them about the moments leading up to Anderson's death.
But Frazier says she knows exactly what happened.
"They were walking back from the liquor store and [the] motorhome pulled up and there was some music playing," she said.
Frazier says her father and younger brother were on their way back home when the RV passed by. Her brother told the couple he liked their music and turn it up.
"And the dude looked at him and said 'Eff you,' and my dad turned around and said, 'What'd you say to my son?' And that man threw that motorhome in drive and ran my dad over. He didn't even get a chance to jump out of the way," she said.
Her brother says the driver then put it in reverse, before putting it back in drive, running over his dad a total of three times.
Police say the RV drove off eastbound on Sacramento Avenue. It's described as possibly a 1999 Tiffin Allegro, about 28 to 30 feet long. It's offwhite with a blue or turquoise rocker on the bottom.
