Danville Marine, 19, Dies In Afghanistan
DANVILLE (CBS13) – A marine from Danville has been killed in action while serving in the Afghanistan, according to the Department of Defense.
Lance Cpl. Joshua D. Corral, 19, died on November 18 while conducting combat operations in the Helmand province as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Corral graduated from San Ramon High School in 2010.
He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
