Cubs End Their Title Drought; When Will The Kings?

With the Chicago Cubs winning their first World Series since 1908, the mantle of longest-suffering fan bases has been passed on.

The Arizona Cardinals are now the major American pro sports team with the longest title drought, having last won back in 1947. In close second are the Cleveland Indians, who came ever so close (they were up 3 games to 1 on the Cubs) to winning their first World Series since 1948 but just couldn't close the deal.

In third are the Sacramento Kings, who last won the NBA title back in 1951 when they were in Rochester and named the Royals.

Maybe the Kings should be looking to hire Theo Epstein, the Cubs' general manager who also happened to help the Boston Red Sox end their title drought.
