Chase Through Two Counties Ends In Crash And Arrest
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A chase through two counties ended in Yolo County when the suspect crashed early Friday morning.
Sacramento police say they tried to pull over the driver who was allegedly running lights and weaving in and out of traffic on 9th and L Streets in downtown.
However, the driver wouldn't pull over for officers. Instead, he led them on a pursuit that reached 100 miles an hour on the freeway, police said.
The pursuit ended just off Jefferson Boulevard in West Sacramento when the suspect lost control and crashed the car. He's now facing felony evasion charges.
