Body Found Likely Missing Stockton Man
STOCKTON (CBS13) — A body found in an orchard on Tuesday is likely that of an elderly Stockton man who left his home on Jan. 8 and hadn't been seen since, police said.
Enrique Gomez, who family members say suffers from the early stages of dementia, left his Stockton home more than a week ago to walk to the store and never returned. Family members and police have searched since then to find the 79-year-old.
Officer Pete Smith said the coroner will confirm the identify of the body. Foul play is not suspected.
