Body Discovered In Angeles National Forest
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County authorities say a body has been found in the Angeles National Forest and a main road has been shut down while homicide investigators examine the scene.
Sheriff's Deputy Guillermina Saldana says the body was reported Thursday morning in the area above Los Angeles' foothill suburbs.
The California Highway Patrol has shut down the Angeles Crest Highway near La Canada Flintridge.
The highway is a major route for commutes between the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles.
