Bodies Of 2 NorCal Men Found Buried In Shallow Indianapolis Grave

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police in Indianapolis say the bodies found buried in a shallow grave two weeks ago are those of two northern California men.

Police said Friday that dental records were used to identify the bodies as 39-year-old Juan Valencia and 40-year-old Raul Villalobos of San Jose, Calif.

The remains were found Aug. 22 by people searching for a dog in a wooded area amid a mix of homes and industrial buildings on the city's east side.

Police have said at least one of the bodies had head injuries. A man who found the remains told WTHR-TV that he and his cousin also found several hundred dollars near the grave.

No arrests have been reported.
