Bicyclist Struck, Killed By Garbage Truck In West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating after a deadly crash involving a bicyclist and a garbage truck.
The scene is along the 2000 block of West Capitol Avenue. Police responded just after 8 a.m. Wednesday and found that a garbage truck had struck a bicyclist.
Police confirm the bicyclist has died.
Officers are now investigating exactly how and why the bicyclist and truck collided.
No details about the bicyclist other than he was a man have been released.
