Performing his own blend of modern country and easy rock, Larry Singleton has been playing music since he was 10 years old. He started out playing the drums, but the noise didn't sit well with his father. Enter the guitar and keyboards, which he still plays. He cites his musical influences as Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Blake Sheldon, and Keith Urban. Singleton is a former coordinator for the Sacramento chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. As a songwriter, he says he tries to write current-sounding tunes that are "aimed at the radio." Singleton believes he's stronger at writing lyrics than at music and melody.
