Snow White Drive-In

Lodi, CA 95242-2354
(209) 369-5314
You've probably driven past it, especially if you've spent time cooling off across the street in Lodi Lake. Snow White Drive-In is a burger joint that is as down and dirty as it gets. The "Snow White Special" is a customer favorite. It's a $5.29 double cheeseburger that regulars swear is the best in the Central Valley. There is also a special sauce that is spread on the burgers that is absolutely delicious. Check them out!
CJ's
10408 Franklin Blvd.
Elk Grove, California 95757
(916) 683-6722
C.J's sits between antique shops and a roller rink, this establishment has to be one of the coolest joints around. Until a few years ago, C.J's was about the only place to wine and dine in Elk Grove. While the area has grown, CJ's hasn't. The place has the same rustic, comfy feel as when it was a mule station and bar a hundred plus years ago. This is a really local hangout; regulars have been coming in for years. There is lots of memorabilia that hangs on the walls; you feel like you've traveled through time. Cheeseburgers are a favorite, but there are some surprises on the menu too. The dinner menu includes a steak, which regulars say is the best around.
