Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - September 14, 2011

Today on The Don Geronimo Show, Joe tells us that his wife will be taking a pregnancy test later on in the day, and Don tells us that Craig will be interviewing actor Nick Nolte after the show, to be aired on tomorrow's show! Don then picks up on a topic that Dave started yesterday: the debate over who's more popular in the Florida panhandle, Jesus Christ or Bobby Bowden? To settle the debate, Don calls places in Tallahassee to ask people who they think is more popular. We even get a visit from God himself on the subject.

Don then discusses with the guys his love for NFL Sundays, and why they should be savored by all men, because it's the only day of the week where men get a free pass to be lazy. We also find out from a texter that actress Scarlett Johansson has nude pics leaked to the internet, so of course the guys go looking for them. We also hear a story about a midget porn star who looks like Gordon Ramsey, and was found dead and partially eaten in a badgers den.

After the guys find a story on deadspin.com about NBA player Glen Rice having a one-night hookup with Sarah Palin, the guys play another edition of "Stupid Jeopardy." Among the categories are "Sing a Kiss song," "Everything Craig," and "Sex or a Restaurant." Afterwards, our good buddy, and favorite gay man LaRoy stops by for another installment of "LaRoy's World Of Gay."

Don then interviews Hall Of Fame quarterback and NFL on CBS announcer Dan Fouts, who will be calling the Tennessee/ Miami game this weekend. The guys talk about week 1 of the new season, who Dan's favorite QB's are in the league right now, and how bad the Colts are without Peyton Manning. We then hear audio clips from last night's TV special, Jacqueline Kennedy, In Her Own Words, which leads Don to pull out the classic "LBJ ordering pants" phone call from his presidency.

We then start the Phantom News Hour. Today, Phantom talks about the hostage crisis in Afghanistan, Obama's job bill, the arena development in Sacramento Casey Anthony's parents on Dr. Phil, and the richest men in entertainment. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
